Summary:
The Hiring Coordinator is responsible for the onboarding, hiring process, and handoff during all students’ Premier Truck Driving school and C.R. England hiring experience. The Hiring Coach must be available to assist a student in any conflict that may arise between the time a student arrives for their truck driver training and the time they are placed for on-the-road training.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome all new students to Premier Truck Driving School on day of intake.
  • Assist in confirming all new students have the proper documentation necessary to start truck driver training and meet CRE hiring standards.
  • Manage hotel roster daily and identify any students with attendance issues
  • Act as an advocate and liaison during truck driver training – work with support hiring personnel to update files, application status, and clearing procedures
  • Communicate with school personnel regularly to ensure seamless problem solving and through-put during the placement process with CRE Placement Coordinator
  • Ensure students are committed to hiring with CRE prior to final clearing and hiring is processed
  • Attend C.R. England Driver Orientation to ensure all hiring paperwork is properly completed, answering questions for new employees, and uploaded for efficient hiring

Qualifications

  • Ability to work with office equipment, utilizing computers for majority of tasks and must be proficient with Microsoft Office programs, operating system and internet usage.
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills
  • Good organizational skills
  • HS Diploma or GED required
  • 3 years’ customer service experience
  • Transportation industry experience preferred..
