    Department Overview

    Student Liaisons must be experts in customer service, communication, customer fulfillment, interpersonal skills, and conflict resolution. In addition to assisting drivers in their Premier Truck Driver Training experience, the individual will communicate directly with CRE team members during Orientation, the hiring process, and placement process.

    Position Summary

     

    The Student Liaison is responsible to assist students with any and all needs while the students are enrolled at Premier Truck Driving School.  The goal of the Student Liaison is to make each and every interaction positive and productive for student and help resolve any student concerns or issues.   

    Responsibilities

    • Assist students at the facility with any questions or concerns they may have
    • Respond to student complaints that are fielded in person or transferred from a third party
    • Document issues and their corresponding resolutions
    • Be a problem solver and motivator  
    • Act as point person on student issues.  Either answer the question or direct them to a person that can help.
    • Have a broad and deep understanding of Premier and C.R. England driver process, policies, and procedures.  Actively find ways to improve processes. 
    • Show patience and empathy when handling difficult conversations.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with student facing employees and school management. 
    • Regularly present to school students in both the classroom and in the field
    • Liaison between the student and their lodging or motel.  Be able to respond to motel complaints and issues
    • Coordinate with management to ensure site is student friendly.
    • Teach and communicate company school and company procedures thoroughly and accurately in daily driver interactions.
    • Proactively offer assistance to students present at the facility.  Follow up to ensure needs are met.  Track the outcomes of the driver interactions.  Report on quantity and quality of interactions regularly. 
    • Conduct student exit interviews.
    • Motivate students to complete the program and to sake safety their top priority
    • Facilitate student promotions and activities at the school

    Qualifications

    • Ability to handle stressful situations in a professional fashion
    • Management experience preferred
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office
    • One to three years transportation industry experience preferred
    • At least one year of customer service experience preferred
    • Some College preferred
    • High school graduate
