    Job requirements may include, but not be limited to:


    • Improve overall freight profitability through pricing, operational efficiency improvements and freight mix enhancements.
    • Develop ad-hoc lane analyses for existing OTR customers and lanes using volume and margin indicators.
    • Provide input and recommendation on pricing and freight selection for bids and RFPs. Assist in bid award acceptance process.
    • Review and audit customer rate schedules for accuracy and make adjustments and corrections as needed.
    • Provide spot quote guidance to Customer Service team as well as timely resolutions for all unique pricing-related inquiries.
    • Organize and prepare materials for cross-functional meetings including bid committee, freight profitability, and monthly accountability reviews.
    • Develop and distribute periodic Targeted Improvement Lanes report and action plans along with follow-up items.
    • Assist operations teams with freight transit time (MPH) improvement and efficiencies, commitment adherence, balance management, and load selection.
    • Define and adjust ongoing and short-term freight needs and goals for Sales teams.
    • Proficiently utilize and be able to train other users in the appropriate use of existing pricing decision support and freight profitability tools and reports. Provide input for refinements of existing tools as well as development of new tools.
    • Other duties as assigned.


    Job qualifications may include, but not be limited to:

    • College degree in the areas of business, engineering, finance, or logistics required.
    • At least one year full time work experience.
    • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail required.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
    • Able to effectively work with all levels of staff and management.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and advanced Excel skills required.
    • Database / SQL skills and familiarity with BI reporting and dashboard tools highly desired.
    • Trucking / transportation industry or pricing experience preferred.
    • Spanish language proficiency desired but not required.
