C.R. England Global Transportation, Inc. is a stable, financially sound company with opportunity for growth within the company.  As a 98-year leader in global transportation, C.R. England Global Transportation is hiring for a Logistics Coordinator in our Rialto, CA location.



Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


The Logistics Coordiantor is at the very center of a fast-paced strategic environment. Our customers require individuals who think strategically and plan ahead of rapidly changing situations while maintaining a positive team oriented attitude. DM’s must be organized and engaged with the team. 


The LC will manage asset utilization and drivers to ensure high delivery of customer service and fleet profitability. Additionally, the LC assists, coaches and mentors drivers with all training and administrative items. 

  • Extreme Multi-tasking
  • Contacting Drivers to Swap Loads
  • Handling urgent situations in a professional manner.
  • Tracking Drivers, Loads, and Receivers
  • Dealing with multiple customers at once
  • Handling approximately 30+ Drivers
  • Working with Load Planners, Driver Managers, and Service Advisors within C.R. England.
  • Negotiating situations to meet expectations of customers and C.R. England.
  • Dealing with Logistical problems
  • Planning future workload
  • Conflict Resolution



  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Ability to appraise, evaluate, and adequately respond to environmental strain and emotional stress.
  • Able to read, understand, and relay information relating to trip planning for delivery of freight and bills of lading.
  • Decision-making and analytical skills used to guarantee that every load is evaluated for ensuring that a profit is made for both the company and the customer. 
  • Have the ability or experience to operate in the AS400, mainframe and PC environment: must be familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.
  • Must be able to sit at a desk for long periods of time and work variable schedules and hours as the job position dictates.
  • Be able to generate reports, navigate through databases and spreadsheets using excel and other Microsoft office products. 
  • Attention to detail, ingenuity, teamwork, and passion to exceed the goals are essential to this job.
  • Must have the ability to multi-task and have excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.


Knowledge Skills and Abilities


Basic Qualifications:


  • A BA/BS in Business, Management, Logistics or related field
  • A minimum of 2-4 years prior work experience in transportation, logistics or related field
