Department Overview

Lakeside Medical is looking for an organized, outgoing Medical Office Manager.  The ideal candidate would also have experience as a medical assistant and would be able to work closely with our on-site medical staff to assist and provide quality medical care and drug screen collections for C.R. England employees and dependents.  Lakeside Medical is located within C.R. England corporate headquarters.

Position Summary


In this position you have the opportunity to work in the operations space with one of the largest, most stable, still growing company in the logistics and transportation field.


Starting Salary: 40K plus bonus potential 


The Office Manager will be responsible for: 


  • Supervise office staff and medical providers
  • Inventory count, supply orders, and vendor management
  • Ensure compliance with current healthcare and DOT regulations
  • Reduce operating costs and increase revenue
  • Develop and implement office policies and procedures
  • Liaise with Medical Providers to identify and improve office dysfunctions
  • Greeting, checking in, and accepting payment for office visits
  • Answering phones
  • Managing appointment requests
  • Weekly reporting
  • Daily cash reconciliation and weekly Bank Deposits


The qualified candidate also has knowledge to perform:

  • Basic patient vitals including blood pressure, visual exams, height, weight, and history of present illness
  • Phlebotomy
  • Injections
  • Urine and Hair Follicle drug screen collections


 The successful candidate should possess:

  • A high level of motivation and the ability to provide exceptional customer service
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • The ability to multi-task and maintain a positive working relationship to support the department in reaching company goals
  • Knowledge of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA) and ability to manage medical records discreetly
  • Knowledge of accounting, data, and administrative processes
  • Current technology knowledge
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

Preferred but not required:

  • Urine Drug screen and Hair Follicle certification and collection experience
  • Understanding of Department of Transportation physical exams
  • Experience in occupational medicine or urgent care
