C.R. England is a stable, financially sound company with opportunity for growth within the company.  As a 98-year leader in transportation, C.R. England is hiring a Training Coordinator to manage new student drivers as they are being trained over the road with Driver Trainers. 

 

Training Coordinators are responsible for overseeing the training of apprentices. These responsibilities include managing the completion of training modules and the comprehension of an apprentice throughout the training process. Training Coordinators teach drivers safe driving practices every chance they get, educating drivers through written QUALCOMM messages, phone calls and through the Training Check Calls.

 

 

Responsibilities

Our Driver Trainers are qualified as certified instructors to successfully teach new students to drive, but the process must be closely monitored and supervised by qualified Training Coordinators. Training Coordinators are an integral part of the Safe Driving Department and are required to perform at the highest level of professionalism.

 

This will include:

  • Monitoring Training Module Completion
  • Apprentice/Instructor Supervision
  • Communicating Safety Risks and Operational Requirements
  • Performing Apprentice Check Calls
  • Performing Group Conference Calls
  • Interface with Support Operations

Qualifications

The ideal candidate is a professional with excellent communication, management, coaching, leadership, and organization skills. This job is highly demanding and requires patience and professionalism. College degree preferred.  Experience in training and the transportation industry are preferred. Current CDL is a plus, but if candidates do not possess a current CDL, they must be willing to attend the C.R. England School to acquire a CDL.
