Department Overview

Our Truck instructors are responsible for training new drivers and assessing road tests. If you are an experienced truck driver who has a passion for teaching and interacting with people, CR England has an exciting career opportunity for you! 

The trainers are taught how to teach what it takes to be a successful CR England driver "The CR England Way."

Position Summary


In this position you have the opportunity to work in the operations space with one of the largest, most stable, still growing company in the logistics and transportation field.


Essential job functions include, but are not limited to:

  • Create the “Load up report” every morning day conference call with the HQ.
  • Check the status of the trucks at the yard (PTA’s accuracy and 3 hour report)
  • Verify that all northbound loads have BOL and are FDA released and matching the system (15 screen)
  • Answer telephone calls from drivers and customers (internal and external)
  • Check available trailer in and outside of the yard assignment and management
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisory personnel.


Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • Skill in operating a P.C. including satellite dispatch systems.
  • Good analytical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English/Spanish in a courteous and professional manner when talking with drivers, customers, the Marketing Department, and other support staff.

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum High school graduate
  • One to two years P.C. and AS/400 experience preferred.
  • One to two years customer service experience preferred.
